The regional city of Wagga Wagga is located within the Riverina agricultural region of New South Wales, north of Albury. It is the largest inland city in the state. The Murrumbidgee River flows through Wagga Wagga and there are several parks along the river, including Cabarita Park with its sandy beach. There's shopping galore at Wagga Wagga. Visit the Wagga Wagga Marketplace Shopping Centre, or browse the multitude of shops along the long thoroughfare of Baylis Street. Just south of the town centre is Willans Hill Reserve where there are many walking tracks through the native bush and scenic lookouts. |
