Introduction:

The regional city of Wagga Wagga is located within the Riverina agricultural region of New South Wales, north of Albury. It is the largest inland city in the state.

The Murrumbidgee River flows through Wagga Wagga and there are several parks along the river, including Cabarita Park with its sandy beach.

There's shopping galore at Wagga Wagga. Visit the Wagga Wagga Marketplace Shopping Centre, or browse the multitude of shops along the long thoroughfare of Baylis Street.

Just south of the town centre is Willans Hill Reserve where there are many walking tracks through the native bush and scenic lookouts.

Located in the Civic Centre, the gallery showcases artwork by local Riverina artists and other exhibitors

Botanic Gardens
This 20 hectare site includes the David Jones Memorial Rose Garden, an exotic plant section, rainforest gully and Australian native flora garden

Festivals & events:

Wagga Wagga Jazz & Blues Festival
An annual festival with over 50 bands performing and a street parade

Shopping & markets:

Wagga Wagga Marketplace
There's around 70 shops including a supermarket and department store at this one-stop shopping complex situated in the heart of the city
