Moruya information and attractions

Introduction:

The small rural town of Moruya is situated on the Moruya River, 6 kilometres from the coast between Narooma and Batemans Bay.

Moruya is surrounded by rich agricultural land and the vast Deua National Park which is located in the mountain ranges just to the west of town.

The town centre is just a short walk from the many river side parks and reserves along the Moruya River.

A surf beach is located at Moruya Heads, east of town at the mouth of the Moruya River.

 
Parks, gardens & trails:

Eurobodalla National Park
Consisting of segments of the coastline between Mystery Bay, Narooma and Moruya Heads, highlights of this park include ocean beaches, gum forests, wetlands and estuaries
Deua National Park
Beginning at the western outskirts of Moruya, this vast park straddles westwards and upwards to the plateaus and mountains of the Great Dividing Range with its rivers and caves

A weekend of jazz with live entertainment, exhibitions and a street parade
