Batemans Bay is situated at the mouth of the Clyde River, between Moruya and Ulladulla.
The town has grown into a popular holiday destination, surrounded by attractive coastal features, beaches and national parks. It is the closest ocean beach to Canberra.
Good views across the iconic Clyde River Bridge and towards the town centre can be enjoyed from Folders Hill Lookout, north of the town centre. For spectacular coastal views, the lookout at Observation Head offers a good vantage point over Corrigans Beach and Caseys Beach.
